SLAM and OPEN MIC featuring Max Kessler! Maxwell has been a member of two Emerson College Slam Teams (including the 2009 College Nationals Finalists), a member of the 2009 Cantab Team, and a Champion of Champions at the Boston Poetry Slam. He has performed at several schools in the New England area, including Hampshire College, and he helped found and run the Emerson Poetry Project, a weekly poetry reading at Emerson College. He would describe his writing as "truth-seeking" and his performance as "early-Metallicaish." The FUZE is an open mic and poetry SLAM that welcomes all styles, people, and subjects. Come and watch or participate as the region's hottest and brightest go at it in a death defying, tongue twisting, minding bending, blood CURDLING friendly competition. $5 cover
$3 students
every 2nd & last friday
doors open at 7:30
open mic starts at 8:30, followed by the Slam
